FLORIDA FILM FESTIVAL’S 20th ANNIVERSARY MOVIE EVENT TO FEATURE OSCAR®-NOMINEE EDWARD JAMES OLMOS

Orlando, FL – (April 7, 2011) – Enzian announced today Academy Award®-nominated actor, Edward James Olmos, will attend the Florida Film Festival’s 20th anniversary event, “An Evening with Edward James Olmos, featuring Stand and Deliver,” on April 15 at 7:30 p.m. at Enzian.

Mr. Olmos, who has received numerous award recognitions and is also known for his TV roles on Battlestar Galactica and Miami Vice, will participate in an engaging question and answer session with movie-goers after the screening of the film. Stand and Deliver was one of the most highly regarded independent films of 1988 and swept the Independent Spirit Awards with an astonishing six wins. It also received several nominations, including an Oscar® (for Olmos), two Golden Globes®, and the 1988 Sundance Grand Jury Prize.

The true story of an East Los Angeles math teacher who believed that no child is a lost cause, Stand and Deliver is an inspiring drama with a notable cast that includes Lou Diamond Phillips and Andy Garcia.
