Overview
We were asked to re-design Quantum Technology Services’ website and branding to reflect a more professional, technology oriented brand and online presence. One of the main challenges was determining how to represent the idea of quantum services visually. Another was creating a simple brochure website that was functional, informative and visually appealing and descriptive of the types of services they offer.
Solution
We designed the Quantum logo to represent dimensions of service, through a gradating cube, and having a band run from wall to wall of the semi-transparent cube–showing the all-in-one approach of their wiring, surveillance and networking services. The type was chosen to be open, techy and clean. For the background of the website, we added a cool graphical element to show movement and the feeling of dimensionality. The website was created to be clean, professional and technologically savvy. We did this through a “Web 2.0″ style aesthetic, clean lines and rounded corners. Too many websites have sharp angles that twichy and intersect, but don’t mean anything. We didn’t want that for this website. Instead, we used friendly looking and straight-forward, vector style icons to represent each service offered. To get as much info on each page without bloating the site, we incorporated a slick side menu to address each users specific areas of interest or the information that they are after. We are quite pleased with the design of the site, and our client was ecstatic with the quality of our product, production time and updated branding.
